Ping Chen (b. 2002, China) is a London-based artist and fashion designer whose practice spans wearable art, textiles, and material-based practice. His work investigates the relationships between the body, identity, memory, and material culture through experimental garment construction, textile processes, and material exploration.

Rooted in personal experience and cultural reflection, Ping approaches clothing not simply as wearable objects, but as physical structures and cultural mediums through which identities can be embodied, negotiated, and remembered. His work frequently draws upon cultural heritage, masculinity, care, family memory, and embodied experience, examining how garments can mediate relationships between the individual and the social and cultural structures they inhabit.

Working across tailoring, weaving, knitting, digital textile processes, and hand construction, he develops garments that move between clothing, textile objects, and sculptural forms. Through material experimentation and processes of transformation, he uses garments as spaces where personal histories intersect with broader cultural narratives, positioning fashion as a medium for critical inquiry and cultural dialogue.
